Bro. Sekar Ponnusami

Although every individual is called to Ministry in their own accord by God, it is a select few who would take the same with seriousness and dedication. Bro. Sekar Ponnusami, is one such individual who has come from humble beginnings only to experience God's faithfulness in His life.
After a long struggle to run away from the burden placed in his heart by God towards ministry, dedicated himself and his family towards ministerial journey and founded the Vancouver Tamil Christian Fellowship.
Although a Chef by profession, Bro. Sekar could be said to be still a culinarian - in spiritual food.

Our Youth Pastor is an Ordained Clergy with a demonstrated record of working in various Religious Institutions in Canada and in diverse parts of India. He is a graduate (Bachelor of Divinity - B.D.) from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune affiliated to the Senate of Serampore University, and is a current Post-Graduate Student (Master of Theology - Th.M.) at Regent College affiliated to the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC.
